Hyatt is very similar to HGVC, you own at a home resort and can use your points to go to other Hyatt locations. Most units at Hyatt are fixed unit and fixed week. Not the floating seasons which you see with HGVC.

I understand that ~2100 points is a 2 bed during the highest season and 1800 pts is mid season and 1300 pts is for the lowest season.

Most the hyatt resorts are in high demand but low supply locations so when you trade with II, you are able to get great trading power.

    Hope that helps

As a Hyatt owner, here's the best advice I can give you (besides don't buy from the developer): Join our Hyatt group. No charge, just register. Then scan our threads and then post your questions.

Yahoo! Groups - Join or create groups, clubs, forums & communities

Then type in Hyatt Vacation Club. The rest is simple.

Hyatt is great, not overbuilt, is expanding into great areas and is a super trade.

The points system is great. You can split weeks, take long weekends, etc. using your pts.
You buy into seasons and pts. Hard to give a synopsis here. Just join and all will be revealed !
      Even the secret handshake.
