Any advantage for existing SPG Platinum member?

Due to my extensive business travel schedule, I am an SPG Platinum member (also Hilton Gold and Marriott Silver) - yes I know that I need a better life. I'm looking at purchasing a resale timeshare and wonder if there are any special options that take advantage of my existing status (and miles)? Any thoughts?

I am not aware of any special options available to SPG Platinum members when purchasing a Starwood timeshare.

There is an Elite level for Starwood Vacation Ownership (SVO), and SPG Plat for Life is offered when you get to 5* (if you own enough developer Staroptions) , but as far as special treatment because you are already SPG Plat, I have not heard of anything. If you purchased from the developer, you may be able to negotiate more Starpoints as a buying incentive, but you may not need more Starpoints...
