Sunset Harbour mid June 2008 any chance

I am trying to get a unit at Hyatt Sunset Harbor in Key West for my son's honeymoon. He will be getting married June 14th 2008 and honeymooning the following week.

I started a search with II, in June 07, using a 1 bdrm unit. Would it increase my chances of getting a unit at SH using a 2 bdrm instead of a 1 bdrm? The reason I ask is because of the filters and the like for like exchange criteria II uses. Here is a concern if I use a 2 bdrm will it prevent the 1 bdrms from showing?

I am also trying to get the same thing for another son but he wants to go during Hurricane season September 2008.

May I ask what you're using to trade ?

That is a very small exclusive resort. Much better chance of the other Hyatts, though not as well located on the island, possibly attainable in September, June a longer shot. I would be be very surprised at a Sunset Harbor match through II for June.

You might consider trying for the Galleon Resort instead of Sunset Harbor. Its location is awesome also. They have one and two bedroom units. Do not go for a studio (the studio does not have a balcony or patio). We've traded in twice through RCI, but it is RCI and II both and really more II owners. It is located on the Marina on Front Street and walking distance to all of the restaurants and shops. If all else fails, you can always pick up the tab for a week at the Westin next door. The Westin bought out the Hilton a couple years back and just finished renovating it. Great place for a honeymoon.
