Well, I thought SDO would be the best choice for my parents. They want to be in the Starwood system and want to use II more than anything else. I thought SDO was the best option (lowest MF, good trader, not too expensive) but now I am wondering if I am making the right rec. for them.

Would you consider another resort in Starwood that is not too expensive?

I think that the Villas of Cave Creek is also a member of Starwood, but has its own HOA. I don't know what the MF is, but you might want to check it out. One word of caution: there may be a special assessment in its future, as I have seen the units, and they are in need of some upgrading...upgrading often means S.A. So due diligence is advised. The folks at VCC would be very helpful in giving you info.

Look for a week at SBP with a deeded week number 23-33 - highest demand of the season.
