  • Questions re: HGVC Las Vegas if you have stayed there

I found some great posts with photos and information regarding this property, but have a few more questions for those of you who have been there. I'm going to be staying in a 2 Br LO unit that I got through a Vacation Exchange.

    1) Does the HGVC use keys or key cards. Will they only give us 2 keys or will they also give our guests keys?

    2) I will have a rental car, but are there also nearby transportation alternatives (the double decker bus, Hilton shuttle, or any other options)?

    3) Do you take the towels from the room to the pool or do they have towels there?

    4) What is the fitness center like?

I'm also curious about what HGVC offers guests who attend a presentation.

THANK YOU for any information that you can share. I'm really looking forward to visiting LV --- even though it will be very hot!!!!

double decker stops front of building. You are better off walking, with all the vehicular traffic you 'll get there quicker by foot.
      3) Do you take the towels from the room to the pool or do they have towels there? Towels are at pool.

      4) What is the fitness center like?
      Typical Hilton-first class/weights stepmaster,etc

I assume you are referring to the newest Hilton on the strip. Great place a little bit too far from the action.

OOPS -- I should have been more specific. I was asking about the HGVC Las Vegas Strip --- the one near the Sahara.

We stayed at the HGVC/Strip in February. Please see my answers/notes in bold, below:

Keycards. We did not ask for more than 2 keys, but don't see any reason for them NOT to give you more, if needed.

The "Deuce" double decker bus stops in front of the Hilton. Hilton also has an airport shuttle. There is a steady stream of cabs available at all times, by the lobby.

            3) Do you take the towels from the room to the pool or do they have towels there?
Pool towels are available by the pool.

            4) What is the fitness center like?
Fitness center is on the 1st floor. It is very well-appointed. Ellipticals, weight stations, free weights etc. are available.

Beautiful place. My first HGVC stay.

May want to consider foregoing the rental car. There are many 10 buck round trip van/bus services right outside the airport doors to take you to and from your resort.

I've gotten a car the two times I was in Las Vegas. Got it through Priceline, so didn't pay much. We wanted to go places out of town, like Hoover Dam, and a car was pretty much necessary for that.
