Arrived at the Bahamian resort Saturday. Thanks to all of the pre-planning advice from all of the Tugsters and advice from TS4MA taxi and Market place shopping went well. The Atlantis property is fabulous. Already went on most of the water rides, and activities.

The weather if fabulous. The temp and humidity is just perfect. Water temps are also perfect.

We did experience a major snafu with our unit. I will elaborate when I return, as I really don't want to rant about it now.

Today we took the Ferry to Nassau on the Island of New Providence. Had lunch at the Greek restaurant. Grouper fish was great.

In case anyone is wondering, I am in building 5.

I will be there on Saturday, the 25th. Landing in Nassau around 6 pm-ish.

I'm nervous re: your snafu. When I was there last spring (thank you Arlene22), she had arranged housekeeping and I followed up as she had instructed. They basically refused and hinted that they would charge Arlene and me (both) for cleaning. I told them not to bother. Fortunately, Arlene & family are immaculate folks.

As predicted I saw your flight from Boston land on time. If you were seated in the left side of the cabin, and were looking out the window, you would have seen a JetBlue sitting at the end of the runway as you were landing. I was in that JetBlue aircraft. You landed right on time. We were running a few minutes late. As you landed and pulled off the end of the runway , we rolled right past you on takeoff. Hope you have a great time!

Billy, thanks for posting that beautiful picture. I will be in Nassau during Easter Break by way of a cruise. Is it worth the money to buy a pass to enjoy Atlantis? Do you have other suggestions for Nassau? - must do or places to eat? Hubby is staying home to keep our younger daughter and I am taking my son and one of his friends. Also there are other adults and teenagers in our group. No husbands, just sons or daughters and moms. We are all friends so it is going to be FUN. No hanky panky either.
