New HCVC "Grand Waikikian" in Honolulu

Hilton opens the 3rd Waikiki timeshare at the Hilton Hawaiian Village joining the 236 unit Lagoon Tower and the 72 unit Kalia Tower.

The Grand Waikikian is a 38 story building with 331 suites one, two and three bedroom suites and five floors of penthouses. The 5,000 square foot swimming pool will feature a water slide, waterfalls and swim through grotto terraces.

This is the third HGVC in Waikiki and fifth total in Hawaii.

Cool. I'm at the Royal Waikiki today (The second Wyndham Vacation Resort in Waikiki) and I can see the Hilton Hawaiian Village from my 25th floor unit. I think I'll walk over there today to check it out. I wonder how many units will be available for open season?

I'm at the Marriott Ko Olina but I check out of the condo at 10am Sunday and my plane doesn't leave until 10pm.
I could stay at here on the Marriott grounds until the plane leaves but I think I'll take a $99 day rate between 7am and 10pm at the Wylands Waikiki so we can have a room during the day and go see the new HGVC.

Okay. I walked over to the Hilton Hawaiian Village from my unit at the Royal Garden. It was about a 5 minute walk. Very close. I can see the Grand Waikikian from my balcony which is just across the park.

It looks extremely nice and luxurious. I got into the lobby area, but it isn't actually opened until tomorrow. They have a model set up in the lagoon tower, but I didn't get to see it as the realtor was out on a tour. It appears they are not doing the 90-minute sales tours any longer. It's just walk in traffic from the Village for 10-minute no non-sense tours.

I'm going to come back later to check out the units. I'd love to stay there. Open season, here I come.
