  • At Westin Mission Hills - any Starwood Q's?

I'll be going to an owner's update meeting Tuesday morning. If anyone has any questions, let me know. They mentioned something about trying to purchase the Club Intrawest site in Palm Desert. Not sure what that's all about. I'll ask on Tuesday.

So how does the place look and how is construction going?

Is there construction? I believe that the new Westin resort at Mission hills was across the street. I've heard that it is on hold and may never be built.

So what did they say about the Club Intrawest property?

The City of Rancho Mirage apparently doesn't want any more timeshare developments, so for the time being, the land north of the villas will remain vacant. No one was willing to say anything more about the Club Intrawest rumor. We had a fun, but not at all relaxing week with the three kids. The baby refused to sleep in a crib while we were there and we didn't want to disturb the neighbors. That's all resolved now that we're back home!
