    Any updates on this?

Does HGVC have ROFR on its affiliated properties like Grand Pacific Resorts Marbrisa?

Hilton points do not transfer on a Marbrisa resale, and Hilton would not be involved in any ROFR decisions for any Grand Pacific affiliates.

I don't recall if there is a ROFR requirement for Marbrisa and I can't access my resort database right now.. Check with Nancy Armstrong at AFC.

Marbrisa does not have ROFR, either through Hilton or GPR

Be aware, HGVC points affiliation does not convey with transfer for Marbrisa.

There just was a posting on TUG of $6400 pasing ROFR for an annual 7000 point 2BR Platinum at Las Vegas Hilton. It looks like $10,500 is high for that now despite your showing that as the lowest number that passed ROFR at Vegas/Orlando properties.

Two consecutive platinum 4800 point units (9600 points annual) for $10500 just passed ROFR. Banked 9600 points from 2009 as well.

Wow. I was worried just 10 weeks ago that $9650 + closing costs would not pass ROFR for 7000 points with 7000 extra points carried forward. I wonder if there ever was a time that resale HGVC prices went up since I had figured with a good resale purchase, I could always get most of my principal out if I sold. Maybe not true anymore. I'm sitting with the recorded deed and anxious to get on-line access but HGVC is slow to finish the processiing.

                        HGVC affilliate

I've seen a few EOY 7000 Bay Club sales on E-bay recently in the $2000-$3000 range. Anyone know if these pass ROFR?

                          JSB15,

If you call HGVC they might give you your member no.. Once you get the no. then you can set up your on line account.

This is what I did last fall when I bought @ Sea World.

Make sure you do your research on these.. There can be big differences based on the section.. The annual fees are not the same. Also, some contracts may require you to pay an additional enrollment fee after closing to HGVC. Finally, I believe there is an upcoming special assessment for Bay Club...

If you are new to resales, I wouldn't recommend eBay as a safe venue. Far too often, those deals come with nasty little surprises!

There are a number of resale brokers who can provide you with advice on this resort (Seth Nock is one of the most well known and respected- but isn't as active as he used to be since he's currently working on some consulting projects.. You can try to contact him via Sellingtimeshares.net).

I can give you several other recommendations- but you may also simply want to post a message in this forums asking for members to give you some references.

Just closed a EOY Gold 5000 pts. at Tuscany $2350.
Not a killer deal but I'm happy.
                              Seth was my broker.
