Hmmmm, looks like there is no longer the ability to deposit your unit...

    Hmmmm, looks like there is no longer the ability to deposit your unit...

    My II account/SVO has removed the option to search with, or deposit on my own, my 2010/2011 weeks.

    Not sure what this is all about, and can only hope that it's a temporary situation.

          Holy COW - it is GONE - all I see are my TWO deposited weks - there was a BIG dicussion over on TUG with a pole about whether u can deposit online or not - go take a look at the Starwood Board there.
          i am just leaving and won't be able to check it out until I get home.
          You KNOW someone over there has seen this as well.

              Ang I can not see anything except the two deposited weeks. Everything else is GONE

                Someone OY is saying that they spoke to a II Rep, and that as of today, all
                non-SVN resorts will be able to make their own deposits, and that is the reason for the change. Everyone OY seems relieved.

                I however am totally confused......We already were able to make our deposits. Now, I can't see how we would be able to do so without first contacting, and dealing with II. Ugh, I liked it so much better when I could just do it on my own.

                Also, our ability to search without depositing is also gone.....Grrrrrrr!

                  What do you want to bet our Starwood advantage will disappear, too? Lots of folks have been having issues with non-SVO deposits. Starwood was trying to convince people they controlled what week we could deposit. Mine's an EOY odd so I haven't had to deal with the issue since I don't have use next year.

                    I didn't even think of that. Wow, do you think it's possible that if Starwood doesn't make the deposit, you won't get the preference? Yikes!!!

                      This seems rather odd - because by changing our accounts, we CAN NOT do our own deposits - this seems backward to me,how about to you?

                      And they already know these are Non-SVN weeks as they are not in a corporate SVN account - they are in our private account.

                      I don't see the correlation between Starwood preference and depositing a reserved non-SVN week. Let's wait and see what shakes out.

                        Exactly.....As non-SVN resorts, we have always had the right, and ability to book then deposit our weeks into II, on our own. I have been doing this since I first got my week.

                        Now, at a minimum, you would need to call II to make your deposit after you book your week through SVO.....What's the benefit to us? Also, the ability to do searches before depositing is gone. why are they relieved OY?
