Are the two bedroom units at Marriott’s Grand Chateau in Las Vegas, Nevada lock-out units? If so, are all of them or just some of them?

All are 2BR 'traditional' lock-offs with a 1BR side and a studio side EXCEPT the end unit on each tower (2 of 3 or 4 are up)
The end unit is a 3BR lock-off that has a dedicated 2BR (with 2 queen beds in the second bedroom) and a small but very nice 1BR.
If u were assigned to one of these dedicated 2BRs the bed configuration in the second bedroom would state 2 queen beds rather then a queen (or king) bed and a sofabed and kitchenette info.
That being said, as an exchanger I do not know if u would get this unit.
I asked if I were a 3BR owner and locked off, would I get my dedicated 2BR at check-in and they said definitely yes. The views from these end units are spectacular especially on the high floors.
I believe Doug is an owner there so hopefully he will chime in.

I stayed there in Dec last year. I rented an extra day and asked if I could stay in the same room. At first they said no, because there are supposedly two different types of 2BR units and for the night that I rented they had me in the "rental unit". One is used for renters and the other for owners and exchangers. I couldn't find any evidence of that on either of their websites (www.my-vacation.com or Marriott Vacation Club - Timeshare Vacation Ownership). In any case, as far as I know, all 2BR units are LOs as Pat has indicated.

All I can think of is that they keep certain rooms in 'weekly' cycles and don't want to get out of order???? Seems odd that they keep certain rooms for rentals.
