What is this Enrollment thing on MVC site?

Hi there.

This add popped up on the site and seems to be trying to get me to spend money with MVC but I can't for the life of me understand why I would and what the benefit would be.

I've read the blurb and am none the wiser.

FYI I am a Royal Palms white weeks owner and an Interval Platinum member as I use lots of getaways (saves on the booking fee).

Here is a summary the new points program thru Marriott - it is called the "Destination Club"

I do not know if it is open to non-US/non-Canadian Owners.

The deadline to get insider pricing is June 2012 - to enroll one week would be $595 and then a yearly fee of $165 which includes your II membership and exchange fee if u exchange your Marriott for another Marriott (non Marriott exchanges would still cost you additional $).
You get 800 points as an incentive to join that u can use to book time at a resort.

It has been two years since Marriott announced the DC program and the OP is just finding out about it now. Has there been no communication from MVCI up to this point for those outside of the USA?

I was wondering the same thing....which makes me think it is for US/Canada owners only....MVCI send me emails as if I WAS enrolled in the DC (not yet!) so I am not surprised if this was a Marriott error
