It is hard to believe that a studio at the Four Seasons would rent for $1300 and a studio at the marriott for $225. Does the four season come with free golf for the week?

No free golf but it is almost IMPOSSIBLE to get into Troon even in the summer....and there is usually availabiliy in the Marriotts then because it is SOOOOOOO Hot!

Actually it's not bad if you compare the weekly getaway rate to the regular rental rate for FS owners which is about $1293 with tax included.

I exchanged into Four Seasons Scottsdale Troon two years ago in late October- Thank you II - I used my Hyatt points. It was THE BEST timeshare and one of the best hotel complexes I've ever stayed in. Of course, it's the Four Seasons quality.
My husband played the two courses there and no, it's not included. It was about $240-260 a round, but he said it was outstanding. I spent my time in a more useful way by indulging at the spa. We once stayed at the Boulders in Carefree (North Scottsdale) and Troon is on par with it except the Boulders has the Golden Door Spa.
I did a review with photos on Troon on the old Tips site. I loved the setting, the service, ambience, restaurant and the pools - no chlorine, they use a bromide solution which eliminates the pervasive chlorine smell.

have you a link to your review and photos, I would love to see them. I've been lucky enough to get into Four Seasons at Scottsdale on an exchange, its for August but who cares, originally I had exchanged into Marriott Canyon Villas but they could only give me a 1 bedroom, so rang back to see if any 2 beds were available and they offered me 2 bed at Four Seasons, snapped their hand off and now very excited. I know it will be hot, but I'm sure we will cope and it will be worth it. We are travelling from UK. If you do have a link it would be greatly appreciated. This is my first post on here, but do read regularly and also on Tug board.

It's not the best location for sightseeing but it's a great resort.

Thanks to Katie for link to website too, sometimes its good to see photos that real people have taken as well as publicity shots, but looks like they are one and same here. I always look onTrip Advisor too for photos taken by reviewers,
