Purchasing After Market Marriott Vacation Club Points

Marriott Vacation Club has requirements transferring points such as the buyer having to pay $200 per beneficial interests which are 250 point sections. Then there is an education fee that Marriott charges for the new owners that's another $2000or so per person. Then you have to pay what the seller wants for the points.

Remember, Marriott has right of first refusal (ROFR) on any sale. They have exercised it on sales of points so far that I have read on Timeshare Users Group (tug2.net).
