What are the odds Marriott re-opens the points option for aftermarket purchases??

Never say never....but I would not make a purchase now in hopes they will do it.
Buy a Marriott now for personal use, rental or trading traditionally in II.
I am more interested in seeing what happens in the resale DC Points, how restrictive they will be toward resale owners.
