Has anyone had any recent (last 6 months - 1 year) experience with buying resale here.
What price did you pay to get past the ROFR?
Please specify if it was the original section or sequel section w Lock-Off.

I see Platinum weeks going on ebay for 9-11K and wonder if this is actually getting past Marriott.

What week was it ? That is an excellent price for a platinum week at the Manor Club. Sound like a summer week in July.

These are Platinum Floating weeks which can be reserved from April thru November-ish I believe.

I brought it in late Nov. The week closed in Jan 15, 2006. I have already used up my 2006 week trade and bonus week. bonus week used for Shadow Ridge (march, 2006), Studio traded for Tahoe Ridge (july 4th, 2006) and 1 bedroom traded for Marriott Shelter Points HHI (next July 4). 2007 weeks almost used up. - bonus week, Disney Saratoga Spring (Nov), 1 bedroom for Sheraton Broadway (1 week before july 4 - back to back with Marriott). All I have left is a 2007 studio to play with..... (THANKS TO THE SIGHTING BOARD)

Pat:

One poster reports a non L/O for under $6000....MAR refused ROFR because it was from a bankrupcy proceeding. Three others bought at $7000 or $7100 via e bay. All are non L/Os

Also....noted somewhere that in the past, www.holidaygroup.com could not hold onto a MAR property for -usually- a day. It appears they now have a short list...some with "on sale" listed.
