Absolutely. Lots of free seats available in those classes for people like you.

The biggest issue is that it takes a lot of capital to get to the highest tier. So maybe what we can do is pool a lot of capital, buy a bunch of weeks, convert them and then deed the pieces back to the individuals who participated. Everyone then gets Platinum VIP benefits, whatever those turn out to be.

For me, if they allow Platinum VIP owners to pick the unit that they get (including the view class) when they book a reservation, then that would be worth getting to that level.

Getting first dibs at prime locations would be another one that they always give out.

No housekeeping fees for partial week stays would be another one.

There are plenty of features that they will create that will make it worth getting to that level.
It will be interesting to see what they offer. Also, I wonder if you will need to buy directly from Marriott to qualify for certain benefits, other than the ones already known?

I'm getting a bit impatient already. I hope this isn't going to take years to come to fruition!

If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.

BTW, I'm still keeping track of how many times you annoy me.

Has anybody called Marriott to ask about this 'possible' conversion?

Is this a rumor or fact?
