The M/F for a 1 BR is fairly high (over $800, my studio M/F is $687.32), but the resort is located right at the base of Peak 9, so it is an ideal skiing location with just a short walk into town, but in summer the activities are more spread out, so the location is not as important. I have stayed in the 1 BR and they are nice units with lots of space, but the high M/F has always been a deterrent when I have considered purchasing the 1 BR.
The studio units that I own are not that great of traders in II, except during flexchange, when I can snare great Marriotts during the Marriott only trading time period. I think II really penalizes studio owners, even though they are getting a ski week in exchange, so the 1 BR may be a much better trader, but at a high annual cost in M/F.

* However, Desert Springs Villas II does have an ROFR policy.
