Anyone there recently ? Reports seem to indicate it's in need of refurbishment (completed yet ?) Need a car ?

My daughter was there in August. She stayed in a studio and said it was just OK. She was glad they didn't have a car because they charge per day to park. She loved the area and the beach and enjoyed the pool. Many restaurants in walking distance.

She said the employees were not the usual Marriott type. Not friendly or very helpful.
