Hi,

over the last few months I have been reading all of the posts on this site. Little by little I am learning ! As a newbie and a recent purchaser, I am interested to learn. Can any one give me a "rating" on my trading power of 2 x gold weeks at the Andaluza playa in Spain ??? Will I be good for 2 weeks in Vail, as a trade ?? Will I be able to exchange for the Boston Customs House ??

Any tips will be very helpfull ??

I had to check the owners website to see when Gold season is.

Gold weeks 9-26, 36-44, 51-52
Platinum weeks 27-35
Silver weeks 45-50

Since this resort has such a small Platinum season, I think that reserving your Gold weeks for week 26 would give you almost Platinum trading power.
In 2008 it includes the July 4th holiday which is a high demand week for US exchangers.
For fall, winter & spring weeks at the Custom House, a 1BR deposit should get you there.
For summer weeks, I would use your 2BR and request 14 months out.

Ski weeks are traditionally harder to get, but if you can be flexible with your dates, request 14-15 months ahead and avoid school holidays - I think you will be successful.
