    Hope you make it sometime.

Beags would be the expert, of course, since she's local. This year you could probably add April, since they got a taste of nasty weather late this year.

On the other hand, we had a very pleasant March stay in the city a few years ago. You just never know.

      Garry,

As the song goes, "Please Come to Boston".
We'll get some folks together like we did awhile ago - DaveM, Kathy Q, Hoc and I had breakfast and it was so very nice. We'll get together in your honor.
(I know where the Bushmill's is served - it's not just for breakfast anymore....)
I'll take Marjorie shopping now that the Euro is strong against the dollar. I'll take you all up to Kittery for the outlets, that is unless, I'm sunning myself on the beach at the Crane in Barbados - I just hope GreenPeace doesn't try to drag me back in the water again !!!

        Got April with ongoing search.

So ( and here I would welcome advice) I choose dates starting in early Jan 08 and finishing late Dec 08. Used dummy numbers starting with an 8.

II showed weeks in Jan and Feb ( no difference in the trading power)
But nothing after Feb 08 . How could that be? Suggests that all the other months are booked . So tried some more locations and again could not see anything past March .
What am I doing wrong ? Or is there a better way ?
        Thanks G
I just got back from the Custom House. I got a April 20, 2007 checkin with an ongoing search with a one bedroom gold non-Marriott at about 5 months prior. Someone traded in with a silver Aruba Marriott studio that I talked to.

The weather was variable. We went to Cape Cod for a few days prior. The weather was cold and rainy the first day, Cold and sunny for a few days, low 70s the first few days in Boston. Raining and messy the day we left.

The trees were not budding when we got there but were starting to bud out when we left.

                    Garry,
When will you be in Boston ? Asking because I can pick you up from Logan and take you to the CH if I'm in town. I'm supposed to go to Hawaii for a niece's wedding and then right off to Barbados for the Crane in Sept. If I'm not around, I can loan you one of the station wagons. Don't worry, they're senior Volvos and are forgiving if you drive on the wrong side of the road !
You'll need a warrior car in Boston traffic, trust me. It's insane. Think Rome or Athens.
                    Let me know.
                    B.

Wow ...such an offer of hospitality !! We will arrive in Logan on afternoon of August 31 st . It will be pm so the traffic will be hectic I guess plus we will have been travelling 5/6 hours and in need of a shower etc .
CH is just a short ride from Logan ...so we will make our own way , but why not meet up for coffee/lunch or dinner on Sat or later in the week ?
We wont use a car thanks in Boston ( to Salem by ferry and back by train I guess) but are thinking of driving on to Montrael...good idea? How long ? Also is it possible to rent in the US and leave it in Canada for the company to return ?
Once again many many thanks for your offer.
                      Hope to meet up .

Just returning Irish Hospitality right back at you !

Montreal several hours drive away. Why not drive from Boston, stay at my modest house in Quechee, Vermont for a day or so and then continue on to Montreal which is about 5 hours away. Quechee is 2.5 hrs from Boston. Add a little more as you'll be driving on the correct side of the road Google the Quechee Map. Break up the drive.
Yes, you'll want to meet up with me as I know where all the Irish Pubs are.

Oh, try this: Quechee Lakes in Quechee, Vermont - Luxury Homes in a Private Golf Course Community featuring Luxury Real Estate as a Primary Home, Second Home, Vacation Property, or Real Estate Investment - PrivateCommunities.com One word, golf. It's a private club, but we'll sponsor you if you wish to have a swing - a free Mulligan, too. You can rent clubs there.

On our way on Friday next...keep the good weather til we get there ! No final plan as yet for getting to Montreal...if we drive can we leave our rental car there ? Is it a lot extra to do so. ?Are there usually delays at the border crossing? ..
                              Thanks all
