I want to visit the nicer Marriott HH resorts but don't want to pay HH platinum season prices.
What's a guy to do?
If I go the Manor Club route, I understand that the units in the original section are nicer than those in the Sequel. But the Sequel condos are lock-offs. Is there a difference in price and MFs? Which have greater trading power?
I think I know the answers to 1-5, but I want to know what you'all think.

- Don't worry, be happy - Because I can trade into them using my gold Marriott Grande Vista two bedroom side of a three bedroom.
- Don't worry, be happy - because I can get a HH week if I use the entire Grande Vista three bedroom to trade.
- Buy a less expensive gold week at the resort I want and trade up to platinum?
- Buy a platinum Manor Club, dance for joy at the less expensive MFs, and trade into HH?
- Fugetaboutit - the only way to get these resorts on a regular basis is to shell out $18K plus for a platinum week.
