I don't come over to these boards much, and should more often...
Anyway, Marti,
I stayed in 1125 on the second floor during the first week of November. The units are huge. Mine was at least 1600 sf. All new kitchen cabinets and granite counters. The kitchen was as large as mine at home. There is a laundry room (not a closet) with full size appliances. The living room was pretty standard. In the entry way there are two coat closets. The master bedroom has a walk in closet. Both bathrooms had granite and new vanities. The screened in patio has real iron furniture with four chairs and plenty of space. Mine overlooked the first tee on the golf course.
Berkely is so much nicer than the rest of Manor Club. It's reserved for owners, but it can't hurt to ask.
I don't remember which unit we stayed in but it wasn't nearly as large as the last poster said so it must have been in another building. It had a small kitchen. The living room was just fair and it had a dining room. The master was good and the second bedroom had one bed and a sofa bed. It was typical for Marriotts and very nice. The washer and dryer were stackable in a closet in the dining room. We were there in Oct and the only pool open was in the main building. It was an OK location. It was at the back of a lovely neighborhood with nice homes.
Merilyn,
you stayed on the sequel side. Very different than the original side and not anything like the building I stayed in.
Not necessarily- sounds like the older unit that I stayed in a few years ago that was not a sequel unit and the building next to the pool building in the older section.
Phase I Buildings: Berkeley Manor, Chesapeake Manor, The Clubhouse Building, Governor's Manor, Heritage Manor, Jefferson Manor, Patrick Henry Manor and Independence Manor. These are the original buildings, all have the last name of Manor attach.
Phase II Sequel Buildings:
Jamestown Commons, Colonial Commons and Federal Commons.
I have lisited them in order as found on the grounds at the Manor Club.
