  • 3 bedroom unit @ Marriott Grande Vista

Is there a particular 3 bedroom unit to request at Marriotts Grande Vista? We have 3 adults and 4 children ages:12, 10, 9, and 6 in our group. We will be there Nov. 24th - Dec. 1st. Is this a quiet time at Disney? Is there a Marriott shuttle that will take you to theme parks or is there a bus/shuttle somewhere outside the resort to catch and take to theme parks? I would rather take a shuttle back and forth instead of paying for parking. Also would like some info on a costco/supermarket close by and restaurants(a variety would be good). I'm usually just a lerker, I can usually find the info I need. In this case I couldn't find exactly what I wanted to know. Thank you for any info you can provide, Sharp Traveler.

I can't answer your question about rooms to request. However we were just at MGV in November. There is a Publix just down I-Drive. Ther is also a new super Walmart a few miles away on Turkey Lake Rd. I am not aware of any shuttles to the theme parks. If you have Disney APs then parking is included. Any time when staying off Disney property you will need to have a rental car. The additional fredom this provides is well worth the cost and the cost to park at the theme parks. You will definitly need one to go to the grocery.

Disney has gotten much busier during that time but it should be better than some other busy times. The busiest time is between Christmas and New Years. At least it won't be hot like in the summer. Have a great trip.
