Hi there

Just looking at various resale options for a European Marriott Platinum week. Please could you guys give me your opinion on the relative exchange power of a Club Son Antem week versus one of the two Marriots in Marbella (which I know have very high exchange power)

Just back today ( from Italy ) Both resorts are excellent and you will have no difficulty. A wordof caution though. Because Marriott have only 4 locations in Europe I am not so sure they trade anywhere near they should do .With the dollar so weak luss people from the US will chose to move outside the dollar zone . But go ahead ..if its resale and a good price !

Marriott Spain

The resort is gorgeous. I own a gold week, too. Unfortunately, when we were pitched the two silver weeks last year, the sales manager and rep told us we could trade silver to gold weeks and rent them. NOT SO. I teach and can never use the silver weeks. The rental option is not legal in the system. Be careful if you are buying and thinking of renting. Up until last summer, I have loved all our marriott properties, but this is really burning me up.
