Difference Between MGR and MGV

What is the difference (if any) between Orlando Resorts MGR (Marriott Grand Vista Resort) and MGV (Marriott Grand Vista Resort). Both seem to be listed separately and have different dates available. Anyone who has any insight on this would be greatly appreciated.

There is no difference to u as the exchanger....there is some thought that for owners it indicates whether u belong to the "Florida Club" - a Marriott benefit for owners - but there is no exchange different - it is one big resort.

The difference is with who deposited the week. When I deposit my week at Grande Vista with II it gets the designation of MGR, I own a unit in the Florida Club and the resort code shown to me on II is MGR. When II had my resort ownership wrong in their system (they showed me as non Florida Club) my resort code was MGV.
There is no difference for those exchanging in to the resort.

Some units at Marriott's Grande Vista are members of the Florida Club and others are not. I believe II designates those units that are members of the Florida Club as MGV and those units that are not members of the Florida Club as MGR. Select both options for an exchange.

You will receive an email several weeks before check-in asking if you have any special requests. At that time, you may request a specific building and/or floor.
