  • Update - Aruba Surf Club....

This property is currently relocating the Fisherman's Pier and removing Sea Wall. A significant part of the beach will be under active construction at certain timeframes. Our concierge staff will assist w/ activities. After 2/24 Owners may check in at Aruba Surf Club.
Perfectly situated along miles of sugary white sand and turquoise waters, the Marriott's Aruba Surf Club is a refreshing compliment to the eclectic Caribbean. There is no private swimming area directly in front of the Marriott's Aruba Surf Club. The beach is public & guests are welcome to swim in front of the other Resorts and hotels. Steps away, take advantage of the restaurants, shops and casino at the adjacent Marriott's Aruba Ocean Club and Aruba Marriott.

From www.marriott.com - I wil post pictures in a few weeks.....

Artsieang, you will love it! We're also headed to the Surf Club on 5/5 for our 4th consecutive year in Aruba at the Marriotts. I am a bit concerned about the beach situation though and that it might be too crowded with the 2nd building open and the construction. After a very hectic Q1 at work, we look forward to vegging out for 2 weeks in Aruba and beach time is paramount .

There are LOTS of beaches in Aruba and they all are open to the public...relax, enjoy....and by your visit next year, it will be all finished.
We plan on at least one day at Baby Beach....and depending on the situation at the resort, maybe another day up by the windsurfing area..

I should have said ...beach time under a palapa in front of the Marriott . We'll be there this May, but not next year. Next year is Russia...we've put that trip off for too long. Other than some snorkeling at DePalm and shopping, we pretty much head to the beach mid-morning, park ourselves under the palapa and relax until dinner time for two weeks straight. I know...we should get a life, but right now, our lives are so stressed, we really look forward to our very predictable, non-stressed first vacation of the year. We might try snorkeling at Baby Beach (I've heard it's a good place for snorkeling) and some kite flying by the lighthouse this year if we get overly ambitious!

We are really looking forward to our trip, I wish it was time to leave already. Hopefully, the beach situation won't be too bad. Maybe we can meet up for a drink at some point.....
