I was at MBC two weeks ago and visited Playa to see how the resort was developing (as we are owners). We were advised that despite the restaurant being complete it would not open as originally scheduled (June) due to low occupancy levels(?). Everything else was on schedule and the resort looked great!

The beach looked in pretty good shape but direct access to the sea remains a problem. This can't be said for MBC where the beach looked dreadful as a result of a lot of erosion.

Thanks Jon, I presume the 2 beach restaurants will be open.

Where exactly is this Marriott located in the beautiful country of Spain? It might be tempting to go there one day, geez, I salivate to think I could actually take a three week trip to Spain and stay at Marriotts along the way!

There are three MVCI resorts in Spain. Two are located on the mainland in the Costa del Sol, both are about the same distance to the centre of Marbella with Marbella Beach on the east side and Playa Andaluza on the west side.

The third resort, Club Son Antem and our favorite Marriott resort is on the beautiful Mediterranean island of Mallorca.
