Marriotts ...Marbella in June

    Marriotts ...Marbella in June

    Was surprised that although we made a request for our home resort in Marbella Beach we were unable to get a booking and we are now going to Playa.
    Does anyone know if they at MMB will allow us to visit (we have friends with us and would llike to show them where we own ...even if we cannot book !)

    Yes, day passes are available for owners. Just contact MMB or ask at the Front Desk when you arrive at Playa and I am sure they will make the arrangements for you.

    We otained a day pass recently as owners at Playa while staying at Marbella Beach.

        Garry, have a wonderful vacation in Spain. These resorts look absolutely beautiful and that with nice weather too. Enjoy!

            Just back after 2 wonderful weeks in Playa . The resort has come on a lot ...beach has been tidied of stones and new pool will open in a few weeks . The best Marriott I have been to . Regards

              Happy to hear that you had such a great trip. Did you take any pictures?

              I currently have a request in for Marbella for next summer. If I am reading your post correctly, you enjoyed Playa more than Marbella. Maybe I should ad that resort to my request....

                Angela, you will love Spain but it reminds me of Southern California too because of the climate and vegetation but the water is warmer in the summer at the Sea of Cadiz where I used to live and most likely too where the resorts are.

                However, we have some nice Marriott resorts too in this country, Garry. You have been only to a few in FL, I believe and they may be the older ones. Ko-olina is beautiful on Oahu and the Waiohai in Kauai and so are the Newport Coast Villas in CA and I love our resort at Palm Desert too but that is one of the oldest ones. It may not be up to date to the newest standards but they have beautiful extended views over the golf course and mountains. You are not on top of each other which I think is a big plus.

                The newest one on St. Kitts looks beautiful to me too. They keep adding on more resorts which gives us a choice of traveling to different places, if you want to do that.

                There are a lot of hot topics right now at the Marriott forum over yonder because there are some changes coming that Marriott owners do not like at all. They are really upset about it.
