New Pictures Posted of Newport Coast Villa's

Right now I have the photo's up of the unit we are in, #3031. As the week progresses, I'll be adding photo's of the resort grounds and amenities. However, I thought some of you who have exchanges in or are conemplating exchanging in might want to see pics of the unit.

Overall it's a very nice resort. I haven't had time to explore as we arrived late last night. Initial impressions are that the Marketplace is to small for a resort of this size, unit layout feels just a bit choppy, GREAT dual headed shower, this particular unit is probably getting near time for a refurbish and the humidity or ocean air has taken a bit of a toll on some of the wood work.

The view from our room is spectacular. I kept my request simple and only asked that we have something of an ocean view and/or be relatively close to the main pool. What we recieved was a spectacular view of the ocean and a short walk to the registration building and main pool area. I couldn't be more pleased. In the FWIW column, we exchanged our 2 bedroom week 10 Platinum Grand Chateau week for this week. If I understand correctly this week is Gold season for NCV.

For some reason I cannot seem to pull up the pictures of the Newport Coast Villas. I see Hawaii, Branson Woods and the cruises, but can't see Newport. What am I doing wrong?

I've edited my signature to include a direct link to our Webshots page. I'm not sure why I didn't have that one in there. If I remember correctly, there was an issue with it at one point.

Doug, your pictures are great and so detailed of the timeshare condo. I always look at all your albums because they give a real good overview of the condos.

We are staying at Laguna Surf in Laguna Beach so very close to you. Last week-end it was very warm but this week has been cooler but still sunny and very clear and great for taking walks on the beach or sit on the balcony for a little while.

We could see Catalina Island every day and San Clemente Island too one day which is not often. I hope the weather will stay this nice for you too. We are meeting TUGgers and TS4Mrs this week. Do you want to meet too? We are so close so it's easy to do. Let me know if and where you would like to meet.

Thanks for the pics. I'm looking forward to seeing more as your week progresses. I've never stayed at NCV, but did take a tour last summer.

Of course, the unit that we were showed was in excellent condition, with a great view. Overall, I really liked the property, and will most likely stay there, one of these days. Enjoy your week!!!

We could probably do that. We really don't have any plans for the week and are just going whichever way the wind blows us. Without consulting with the wife I'm pretty sure any day would be fine. We have never been in this area before so I don't have a clue what's convenient, close or between where we are staying. I'm assuming from the signs I've seen that Laguna Beach is south of Newport Beach.

Your timing is just about perfect!!! I am indeed set to be at NCV the week before Memorial Day, just about 2 months away. Going to fly into San Diego and drive up the coast. We are so ready for a vacation here. Been working like beasts, plus this stinkin winter here in the Northeast has been especially brutal this year.

Thank you so much for sharing these pictures. I admire your other photos as well.

We met Doug and his wife yesterday and after our visit, I drove up the hill and took a picture in front of the condos starting with 4000. They have a panoramic view. The Marriott is building another phase higher up so that view should be better yet.



I posted a picture of Doug and his wife in my other thread as we also met Julie (barndweller) and family this week.
