  • Marriott Imperial Palms - Very Nice

We stayed last week at Marriott's Imperial Palms. I was really impressed with the unit. It was a three bedroom. Even though the Palms complex is an older Marriott Vacation Club, I really enjoyed my stay there. Imperial had been recently updated - granite countertops, black appliances with solid surface stove. The kitchen bar and dining room table would seat 12 people!

They had a nice quiet pool close to Imperial and a larger quiet pool at the check-in area over by Royal Palms. Of course, all of the Marriott World Center amenities were available, too.

I would go back in a heart beat if I needed another 3 bedroom in Orlando.

    Thanks for the info.

I have a week booked there in December. Can you tell me.....

    1. It mentioned the use of a gym at the hotel and nearby World Trade Center. Did you happen to see either of them? If so, are they large or your typical hotel gym - a few cardio and a free weights.

    2. Can you confirm they have an onsite indoor pool.

    3. Bedroom set up - I assume the master has a king - what do the other 2 bedrooms have?

    Thanks!!!!

Yes, I saw a separate building out by a quiet pool with a spa and exercise equipment at the World Center complex. I walked by the indoor pool sign, but I never went and actually looked at the indoor pool - but they do have one.

The 2nd bedroom had a queen bed (I'm pretty sure it was a queen) and a pull-out couch bed and the room was very large. The 3rd bedroom had 2 twin beds. The 2nd bathroom was large with double sinks. The mattresses were very comfortable so I'm assuming they were the Marriott Revive bedding.

The master bedroom was quite large with king bed, separate shower, large jacuzzi tub, and double sink vanity that was the largest I've ever seen in any Marriott Vacation Club resort I've stayed at. The bathroom also had a bidet(sp?) along with the regular toilet/commode.

You could tell the resort was older, but the inside of the unit was extremely nice. The grounds were well taken care of and they had nice basketball courts. The Marketplace over at Royal Palms was small, but since we had a car and went to the grocery store, that was no biggie for us.

The quiet pool next to Imperial is small, but it had a baby pool and a hot tub and if you wanted a bigger quiet pool, it's a short walk over to Royal Palms pool.

The resort wasn't as fancy feeling like Grande Vista with its extensive grounds and wow factor, but I enjoyed the quiet feel of the resort and the interior of the unit was wonderful.
