Best use of my new TS?

I just bought a gold week at Newport Coast -NCV.

Now how best to use it.

I've had no trouble trading into NCV with my other TSs for the off season ( when we like to travel) Would it be smartest to continue trading in with my other TS and use NCV to trade into the really nice TS and seasons that my other TS can't pull?

Yes, that is a good strategy....I have frequently done this myself.

Also find out by calling the II Marriott desk if they offer accommodation certs (ACs) for your resort and what weeks they gave them for the last 3 years.
This will allow u to reserve a desirable week at your home resort and possibly get an AC as well.

This is my plan with my Kings Creek Williamsburg EOY TS. It is a 3 BR lockoff. I split it into two - deposit both with II - they gave me two ACs so I end up with 4 weeks in II. My other TS can pull Williamsburg so I will use that one to trade into Williamsburg when I want to go there.

Odd years - yes they gave me ACs for 2009.

I have a float week. So I call II first and ask them what weeks they want to qualify me for an AC. They tell me and I book those weeks to give to them. I recall most of the summer (but not all) was eligible this year for ACs.

Yup, I agree. That is your best strategy, and I too do this with my Marriott's.
