Ebay Auction-Is this a good buy?

Hi folks.. Well after an unsuccessful ebay transaction(luckily I got my money back) I'm trying again. I saw this auction posted today and it seems like a really good buy.

Marriott's Harbour Point at Shelter Cove Timeshare SC - eBay (item 180347043900 end time Apr-22-09 13:14:54 PDT)

Although I'm not sure what kind of trade power this week would have. I'd appreciate any feedback/thoughts from more experienced timeshare owners.

I can't speak to the actual resort, but it's week 1. Do you want to go there in January? I don't think too many other people will so if I'm correct, it won't be a good trader for you.

Can't speak for II but week 1 is a notoriously bad trader in RCI.

I agree....One of the worst weeks in the calendar year, IMO. I'd pass, if I were you. You'd get the Marriott preference, but your trading power would be terrible.

Not only is it a Week 1, but it's Week 1 on Hilton Head, a summer destination. Lowest trading power possible in the Marriott system, and likely in II overall. I wouldn't take it for free.
