....... Also on Monday's agenda, developers for the Marriott Crystal Shores timeshare project are seeking to delay construction on a proposed beach access point by about four years.

The public access was originally scheduled for completion Dec. 31, 2011. Owners are now wanting to move the completion date to October 2015.

I'd say that's pretty accurate, since Marriott still owns the majority of that resort at the moment! I don't think sales have been as "brisk" as intended. Not sure why Marriott thought a $50,000 to $125,000 price tag would be a good idea- but perhaps I'm just out of touch with the Marco Island market!

Marco, Naples, Ft. Myers

These markets have been the hardest hit in the country - Marriott must have priced when the market was obscenely high. I'd say - "Good luck with that!" - You can buy a decent condo near the beach for $125K.
