  • Where are the EOY Marriotts?

Does anyone know a link to all the Marriotts that have biennial units?
Or do you know which ones are EOY and 2 bedroom lock-offs?
    Thanks.

It's the Waiohai on Kauai, a very nice resort. We stayed there once several years ago. Here are some old pictures.

Great pictures. What a nice resort. What are the chances of trading into this resort if I purchase a non platinum week?

It depends- when are you looking to go? If you are looking for a Fall week your chances are much better than for a summer week. It also depends upon your flexibility and timing- put in your request at least a year in advance, so that when the first units get deposited you are on the list, put in as wide a range of dates as possible, and hope for the best. On the other hand, if you are looking for a specific July week, for example, the likelihood is you won't get it. Flexibility and planning in advance are the key- as well as reserving the best week in your season at your home resort. Keep in mind that many non-Platinum weeks trade as well and sometimes even better than certain Platinum weeks, even at the same resort. So base your reservation on II's demand index.

That said, you also need to be realistic. There are certain weeks that are very unlikely to make that exchange unless you are looking in Flexchange. So while a good Gold or perhaps Silver week may get it, it is unlikely that Bronze weeks will pull it unless in Flexchange (although some people have lucked out).

Thanks, I'm still studying Marriott so I make a good purchase. I need all the help I can get.
