Resale is always the best option! People should not feel bad about paying full price from a developer (most new to timeshare do!), but if you are aware of the resale industry and still pay full price- you are simply foolish!

There are some great threads that deal specifically with points.. You may want to post any questions you have there since this thread just tries to report recent sale prices and right of first refusal decisions.

Any new details on ROFR status? No indication on my database that Marriott has become more active, though there is a thread OY that indicates they may have taken back some inventory in Aruba.
