Got my owner # ! Need help with Ressie.

YAY!

I'm an owner...but good grief ...I had to hunt them down for my owner number. The darn thing was completed 6/26 and nobody thought it was necessary to notify me.

Ok, over that-on to my questions.

I created my account and can access reservations. My intent is to split the unit into 1 bd and studio and deposit with II. I can see the options-but what do I pick? The week has not been added to II-I will start that today-I just want to secure the ressie for the week I want.

Do I choose "Stay" and then deposit that later? Or do I pick owner deposit? Also-if I do seperate reservations online for each half-does it prompt me to pay the lock off fee-or do I have to call to complete all of the above?

That is what I do -especially since it is not yet in your II account - then when u r ready, u can deposit.

I got 4th of July weeks. I had to take Thurs check ins-but I figured that was better than Sunday which IS 4th of July. I hope I did the right thing.

I called II and she told me it would take about 2 days to get it added to my account-I went ahead and extended membership because Worldmark does 2 for 1-so I'm now good until 2012..does that sound right? Just two days to verify and get it added?

So, once it's added to II-can I just go in and deposit using the reservations numbers or do I have to switch the reservations with Marriott from stay to deposit? This is the only part that is confusing me.

It could be more then 2 days but u will see it in your account - I would deposit the studio but wait a bit to see if u r offered an AC for the 1BR side.
Traditionally it has gotten one but I is a bit slower to offer them this year.

Yeah, I have been watching elsewhere to see if AC's have been offered.

Problem is-I really need to deposit the 1bd to make a request for next year late May/early June. Sigh.
