Maui Ocean Club Information
I found this note yesterday posted on their web site and you may like to know about it in advance, in case you are planning to visit this resort. 
A lot of people were very disappointed to find out last April that the pool was empty because it was being refurbished which lasted until the middle of June, I believe. It was posted on their web site well in advance but not everyone saw it.

Please note that the Molokai, Maui & Lanai suites are scheduled for refurbishment beginning August 28, 2010 to December 12, 2010. While we do not anticipate any impacts to amenities, construction related activities may be observed between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. In addition, painters will be on-site and guests may experience painting related odors in the area. We thank you for your understanding and sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
