If any Marriott owners did not receive the e-mail outlining this program, which distributes resort-reserved intervals to Marriott owners on a limited basis, and generally around the end of 2006, be sure to call MVCI owner services and ask to speak to someone about the "Gift of Time". No guarantees, but it's certainly worth a try.

I received my e-mail relatively early (on April 28) , but procrastinated, and all the NCV (Newport Coast) intervals were gone today. I did pick up a 2BR at Grand Chateau Las Vegas for ~121.00/nt for a week. Essentially, the intervals go for around the maintenance fees. That Vegas week booked at anywhere from 379-699 per night, depending on day, so do the math

Quite an interesting thread here about this subject too. I don't recall reading an email about it but we couldn't use it anyway so my BH deletes all these emails the moment they come in and also from RCI and II. I should try to read them first.

You got yourself a good deal, Pat. I would go there once and enjoy Las Vegas for a week. It is fun to go and see a few shows too besides gambling, if you like that! I wonder how easy it is to rent the condos but they are very nice and in walking distance where the action is.

We usually go to Vegas once a year; last year it was to see Keith Urban at Mandalay Bay. This year will be for Christmas, I suppose

I rented out all our NCV weeks this year, since I won't be traveling and my wife is following Keith's tour solo, so I figured I needed one week of veg'ing. Perhaps it was fortuitous that I waited and didn't book NCV, as we had a bad experience there the last time we stayed at Christmas, which I outlined on the old TUG board. My wife doesn't easily forget

Anyway, there are still weeks available, if anyone wants to try...
