RHC In Hawaii What would you recommend??

Hey guy's
I have 120K points to use for 2012 and want to stay in Hawaii. I am thinking about 2 weeks in Kona and 1 in Kaui.

Has anyone ever stayed there??
What are your thoughts on the resorts / facilities??

Have been spending the last couple of years in Cozumel and Cancun, I know that Hawaii is condo's not AI resorts so yur feedback is appreciated.

I have lived in Hawaii before for 2 years before, but only in Pearl Harbor (Navy).

Also when is the best time to reserve (IE when do they post availability)

I have searched RHC every week for about 3 years but have never seen any availability in Hawaii.

I have seen Kona before on RHC. Last year I had 3 nights somewhere in Hawaii in October that I ended up not being able to use (hence the lack of recollection of details now).

I just checked on the RHC website and there is availability throughout 2012 for Kona and through early November 2012 for Kauai.
