Where have you been

using RHC points? We have been to Florence, Rome, Paris, New York and Vail. We have enjoyed all our stays and have posted comments about all of them except New York (which already had a lot of feedback).

Where did you stay and would you recommend it to others? If you stayed at one of their all-inclusive resorts, was it worth the cost?

I have been to New York City and Courtyard by Marriott Isla Verde in Puerto Rico. I am actually leaving Wednesday for a second trip to Isla Verde. The accomodations aren't typical timeshare accomodations. It is just a standard hotel room. It is a very nice hotel, though. What I loved most is that it is so close to the airport. There aren't any activities at the resort. It is a great place just to relax though. We are only staying 4 nights & that is probably all I would stay there. It is on a gorgeous beach & that is where I will spend my days (weather permitting).

How was the resort on Block Island?

Clean but older and very basic. The location was good since it was central and a short walk from the ferry dock. Managers were very nice. We went in October after the season had ended but some of the larger hotels and all the restaurants and shops were still open. Everything on Block Island is older. We went because we wanted this trip back in time.

Just got back from 12 days at Park Royal Cozumel.

My gosh, what an outstanding resort!! This is our 3rd year in a row there. I love, love, love the place.

It's probably the cleanest place I've ever seen, and the staff is outstanding. I mean, really outstanding. They make us feel like family!

Excellent place - highly recommended!

reading through a few olds threads....thought I wudl add my 2 cents....

San francisco ( Powell PLace)
NY, several times ( Affinia Dumont)
Hawaii ( parents, in between 1 week timeshare stays)
Bahamas - Wyndham Nassau
Paris ( twice, Napoleon and CItadelle?)
London

I think ther are more, but can't recall at the moment. But generally we do long weekends or tack on to other timeshare stays ( except Paris and London).

Have not used personally in last couple years. Rented and/or deposited to RCI.


I have loved it, but I think our travel style, now with the children, has changed such that it is no longer one of my most used ownerships. I have not really experienced that much difficulty administrative as many have reported. Lucky I guess. I love that there are no exchange fees to make ressies ( also no HOLDs, though). It kind of makes sense to me to only charge/penalize IF you cancel!

Thsi thread reminds me I have not done anything with my remaining points this year and need to deposit them.....
