Been waiting for the 'contract' to be let for this 'resort.' Looks like it was done in the last few days as all of 2008 suddenly opened up.

My guess is that the contract is for one 1BR (Presidential) and one Studio (Jr. Suite); not much availability to be had.

This elegant old world apartment-hotel, is a lovely 19th Century period style property built around a wonderful Italian style courtyard with a very discreet and historic entrance from the street. The spacious apartments are decorated and furnished in a traditional and comfortable style with a charm of its own. You'll find yourself conveniently located in central Rome between Piazza Barberini and Via Nationale, with easy access to all of Rome's main attractions and historical treasures. The Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain and the Collosseum are all within walking distance as well as innumerable local places to eat and drink.

So having seen the 2008 availability can we assume you booked one?

Sounds like a tough trade thru any system.

Got both the Studio and 1BR for my week, wanted another unit but I don't think it exists. One of the many downers of RHC... As a Royal member I can book two years in advance, doesn't help much if they don't put the inventory in the system, by the time they put it in everyone's able to book it.

Congrats! You may be the only one we know who ever successfully books this.

              Hey Spence,

              I can dream...

As you know I love Italy, especially Tuscany, Umbria and of course Rome. I will be living vicariously through you One of the best years of my life was the year spent in Aviano. It was wonderful to be able to travel and see so much without the constraints of 14 days to pack EVERYTHING in.
