I'd love to hear about your experiences with Royal Holiday Resorts other than New York City. Those are the only ones I've been to so far.

    Other RHC Stays

I have stayed at 2 Hyde Park Square in London, but RHC has not renewed that contract

I have stayed at the Domus Romano in Rome - Very nice property in a good location

I own at the Royal Sands, so I have just seen the outside of the Park Royal Pyramedies, but I have not been in one of the rooms.

I have used my points for weeks at the Kona Coast Resort (I also own there) - The units I have been given were Phase I units.

I have the NYC properties on my to visit list, but I keep finding gems in other locations and spend all of my points on those properties.
    GO ILLINI!

Nice to hear good things about Domus Romano, I'm going there Jul08, I think.

Make sure that you have your RHC confirmation with you. I had what RHC had sent me and the hotel staff thought that I should have some additional paperwork, but they finally decided to let me check in with what I had at the time. I was not looking forward to trying to call RHC from Rome to get it straightened out. This was in 2005 and RHC at least makes your confirmation paperwork available online as a PDF now, but then it was not an option and I remember having to call multiple times to get the confirmation sent to me, so that might have been part of the confusion with the hotel staff.

Domus is just a 1/2 block away from Via Nationale, which has many stores and places to eat. We were able to walk to many of the sights, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps and the subway stop is not too far away for the further afield sights, Vatican, Coliseum, etc. There is a breakfast buffet available in the morning that has a pretty good selection of cereals, cheese, yogurt, etc. We had the 1 bedroom suite (Presidential) which has 2 lounge type chair/beds in the main room and a queen bed (I think) in the bedroom and a small kitchenette (we did not use this at all because breakfast was available and the other meals were eaten out), pretty spacious for a capitol city in Europe.

I will have to locate the restaurants where we stopped, some were amazing, the one that we liked the best really did not have a menu, the owner/waiter just recited what he had prepared for the day and it was all very delicious. Very small, with only 10 tables in the place and it was only 2-3 blocks away from the Domus.

I would appreciate any/all details you may have/remember. Thanks! I think they only have two units there, I have both of them.
