  • Help selling 47500 Pts RHC

My wife and I are looking for help to sell our TS We have 47500 points per year in Royal Holiday Club. I believe we have 25 or 26 years left. We used 3 weeks this year and banked 4000 PTS into 2009. What would be a fair market price and what would be a good company to help us with the transaction. Any help would be appreciated.

I bought 20k points from a private seller for zero and we split the $500 RHC transfer fee.

I bought 40,000 points for $1.25 plus closing. You are lucky if you "give" it away like free.

The fair market value is basically what it sells on eBay for and you see the quotes above. Some people have paid the closing or transfer fees, too, to rid themselves of them. So that means there may be perceived negative value! There are no good companies to help you unless you mean the ones that tell you they can get you $30,000 for it and charge you $1000 upfront, but never ever sell it.

If they can't even give it away, this might be a situation in which a PCC might work if, and these are mighty big ifs:
            • They can find a PCC that is willing to it
            • the PCC actually takes ownership and doesn't just secure a power of attorney to sell.

The second is critical because if the PCC is unable to sell it using a power of attorney, the owner will still be stuck with making payments to RHC, and will be out the money paid to the PCC as well.

“This is a blouse and skirt. I don't know what you're talking about.”

            “You shouldn't wear that body.”
