Item number: 290283998040 is a poorly written eBay listing for a RHC contract of unknown point value that harps on the value of a Trust Certificate and I don't even think they have that right as they seem to think it can be cashed in at full value in 2012 when contract doesn't end until 2026. Based on the assumed original purchase price of $13950 and the MF listed, this is probably a 10,000 point contract that could have been bought retail for $10000 without the Trust Certificate.
When I last attended an 'update' in Mexico they were selling contracts with this Trust Certificate, but this is the first I've seen on eBay. The way it works is that your contract costs that much more because they buy this investment that will give you the purchase price back at the end of the 30yr contract. In 30yrs, what is the buying power of your original purchase price, not much? You could, even today, probably invest better than RHC.
