Does anyone have any experience with VI as a management company? Our resort is considering a change in the management company and VI has been proposed.

Additionally, can anyone that is currently on a board or was previously on a board, provide some insight on what would be a reasonable management fee to be charged by a property management company for a timeshare? Any suggestions on the process of selecting a mgmt company?

Any recommendations? This would be for a smaller independent owner directed resort in a highly demanded location.

Doesn't sound right

VI owns parts of some resorts and all of some resorts, but they have VRI as a management company.
So, if your resort is talking with VI it has to be about selling some units to them for their membership to utilize, OR they may be talking with VRI about management.

What is the name of your resort, I can ask my VI contact and see what he knows.

Thanks for the clarification. This is something that has come up very recently so I'm not sure I can comment publicly.
