Porter III solutions faye , bussy jamie porter

    Hi AZ girls,

I did speak with Tom Obrien of VRI. After that Buddy porter called me back. He lied that he has been trying to reach me for two months and threatening told me I signed a deed ( for the resort he niether owned, no knew about the fact that it was already owned by someone else. ) . I insisted that I wanted my money back to which he said he would in a week. let us see.
I will inform of this to Obrien of VRI , so it stays for his record.
    I thank you once again.

They will play the "checks on the way" game until you give in OR:

    1. Call the title company or escrow company your check was made out to. If the deed has not been transferred, you have the right to demand your escrow back. PLEASE DO NOT TELL ME YOU MADE THE CHECK OUT TO PORTER!!! Arizona law requires checks be deposited into an escrow or trust account in a bank located in the state of Arizona. So unless your check has "trust account", "escrow account", or the name of a title company on the "pay to" line, they have violated the law.

    2. Call the Arizona Real Estate Commission. According to their data, no one named Dennis Beaver has a real estate license. Therefore, any sale involving a deed (regardless of what portion of the sale is allotted to the deed, and what portion is allotted to points) was illegal.

    3. Call the resort, and speaking with the resort manager Tom Sullivan(he works for VRI), and the broker Richard Harvey(he works for Porter). Richard Harvey should be especially concerned, he is the real estate broker and could lose his real estate license. Make it clear that you believe the law was violated and that you will be contacting the authorities. If you have a lot of time on your hands, you could also call RCI. If they get enough complaints, they will cancel their contract and Porter will be out of business.

    3. Call VRI Resorts!!!!, they are the management company for all of the resorts Porter III Solutions sells for, they are Porters employer. The corporate office number is 949-587-2299. Demand to speak to Tom O Brien, (Sr. VP & Manager of Southeast Operations), Loren Gallaher (Legal Council), or Roy Fraser (CEO). This may be the most important call you make in regards to getting your money pronto.

If you follow the steps above, I believe you will get your money back. I ask that you perform all of those steps, even if you get your money back without doing all of them. If they simply give you your money back, without any repercussions, they will do it over and over again.

So you know who you are dealing with, Faye and Buddy Porter travel back and forth between resorts in Arizona and New Mexico, and their home in Virginia. Jamie is not just an employee on the other end of the phone, she is their daughter. They do not have a business phone, they use their personal numbers.

Anyone can check on an Arizona real estate license at: Arizona Department of Real Estate Database Record - TEAM INVESTMENTS, L.L.C.

      VRI Porter

Beware of them the Porter III solutions. They are scam. They are listed as vendors for both RCI and VRI. Faye Porter is.
They sold me something which was already somebodyelses', instead of putting the money in eschrow ( the did not own it, so it is a violation of the real estate law) , they put it in their own name and in their account.
I am working on it hard to get y money back. I had to call Tim Obrien of VRI. His phone calls have helped me to even get a phone call from Buddy Porter.
      STAY AWAY...

I am staying at the sedona springs now, the point values you would receive for the maintenence fees at sedona springs are reasonable, though I the ratio of points for the maintence fees at the villas are not as good. most people of knowledge on here would advise someone who wanted to be in the rci points program to watch the auctions on ebay for timeshares which are for sale which are already converted to rci points. make sure to research the resort and get one that has a high point value to maintanence fee ratio.

I will say they did have some good food there, and the presenter was fairly entertaining and knowledgeble

        Additional infor

I also purchased another timeshare from Porter III Solutions. I talked to Faye on several occasions and she told me that she was going to wait until December to put the paperwork through to say me paying maintenance fees for 2009.
I called the Villas of Sedona and spoke with Martin who said he would have the RCI rep who is there now contact Faye to get an update.
I was told by Martin that Faye is indeed a rep for RCI so I guess I will just wait to hear back from them over the weekend.

          Porter III time share

          Hi AZ girls,

Thanks a lot for all your help.

After Tom O'Brien from VRI intervened , I finally got my money back!!!!

If anyone does not get what they were promised, I recommend calling up VRI. The numbers are listed in one of the comments made by AZgirls.

The Porters ahve to cough up the money since Faye Porter is listed as a vendor for the VRI. They do not like such complaints. If they receive too many compliants they will be out of business.

VRI as an organization is owner friendly and developer independent. They have been instrumental in helping some of my resorts remain viable and in one case turning around a nightmare left by a bad developer in a relatively short time.

Tom O'Brien is a straight shooter that doesn't mess around. You were lucky to have him on your side. It does not surprise me at all that he made sure things turned out OK.
