  • Please Help a WorldMark Newbie w/Purchase Ideas

We currently have resale FF points and we definitely plan to add more (resale FF) in the future. But we're trying to decide if we want to have some WM credits as well. Here's how we're thinking of using it:
    • Won't likely use bonus time. We live in the eastern U.S. Does it matter when reselling later?
    • Probably stay in a WM for a partial week every 2-4 years
    • Probably stay in a WM for a full week every 3-4 years.
    • II trade every 2 or 3 years.
    • Lowest maint fees possible for the package we would need. How?

What size WM package should we be looking for?
Anything special we should look for in a resale, considering how we'd want to use it?
Thank you for your thoughts and your help!

    Worldmark resales

Here are a couple of sites that deal with Worldmark resales at what amounts to huge discounts and preserves the Premier package (no difference than purchasing directly from Worldmark).

Worldmark is charging somethin like $1.65+ per point and these two resale brokers have points packages that start at less than 90 cents per point, with no apparent downside.

    Good luck!

      Lisa,

      Here is another Worldmark reseller:

      http://www.resort-property.com/credits.html

This is the RPMI people who also sell Fairfield. Their Worldmark prices are $.80 per point.

If you can find them, there are some early Worldmark contracts that have an unlimited housekeeping feature. I believe if you find one of these as your first contract, any new contracts you add later will be able to partake in this feature.
