  • Worldmark Weeks

Does anyone know the best exchange companies for exchanging into the caribbean and hawaii? We are weeks with no set resort and are only with rci. I understand there is II, SFX, DAX, and a few others. Thanks in advance.

    Herbster,

Not sure I understand your question. You say you are weeks, but WorldMark is points. How does your question relate to WorldMark?

It is worldmark weeks and we get points. Here is an ebay auction I just copied and pasted...

Okay, this is a regular premier WorldMark account. If you were to purchase this ownership, you would be able to use RCI and II directly through WorldMark.

If you wanted to use any of the independent exchange companies, you can. All you do is reserve a unit for 7-nights at a WorldMark resort and deposit it with one of those companies.

To determine the best exchange company for the Caribbean or Hawaii, you need to post that question in those forums where experts who exchange there go.

For me, I like TPI and II for Hawaii.

Thanks for info. That clarifies that I can use these other companies (ie sfx) for exchanges just by depositing. Sorry, I have a unit...what I meant to show the ebay link for was to show what I have owned for 10 plus years.

Yes, you can. The best week that you can book with your WorldMark credits varies based the specific exchange company you use.

You can book Hawaii with Worldmark credits also. Worldmark has a few resorts there. I think it's pretty hard to find availability though and you need to book as far in advance as possible. Is that right Boca?

Also, if you use SFX to deposit a week, make sure you contact SFX and find out which WM resorts and seasons they will accept. Don't reserve any week and any season without doing this because SFX may not accept what you reserved.

Go to the Ask SFX forum and do this. Mark will give you an answer.

You can book Hawaii using WorldMark. However, you need to book exactly 13-months in advance of checkin to get anything. In fact, you may need to add on a couple of days somewhere else and then book your reservations. It seems to be fully booked a day or two ahead of open reservatoins.
