We arrived yesterday in Pismo Beach after spending a wonderful week in Sedona. We stayed at the Fairfield Sedona Resort and loved it there. We had a chance to meet with Katiemack and her husband. That was a great get together. We had breakfast at the Coffee Pot, which I would highly recommend.
Pismo Beach is FANTASTIC. It was nice to arrive where the temperature is 72 degrees after spending time in the desert where it often times reached 110 or more. What makes this place special to us is that the area does not seem to be overcrowded like it is in southern and northern california. Central california was always what we passed through to get between southern and northern california. Now, I know there is much more here.
We are staying in the WorldMark Pismo Beach. This is a little gem of a find for us. I had read that the units were small. I would say that they easily accommodate 4. We did get two units due to the occupany limit of 4.
We were lucky. There are only a few units with Oceanviews. We got two of them on the second floor. I love it here. I could spend a month here on the beach. I might do that the year after next since we already have our plans for summer 2008 set.
The WorldMark Pismo Beach is called the Beachcomber. And, check in is handled by the hotel next door which is The Sea Venture resort. We had dinner there last night and it had beautiful views of the ocean and sunset and great menu to boot. I would highly recommend eating there.
If you want a nice quiet beach on the pacific ocean, this is the place for you.
